So Addison was watching me go through some pictures on the computer and in my Family Tree Maker and she said "who is that" and I told her it was my grandmother who is in Heaven and I said "Isn't she beautiful and she paused for a while and said "but I love her too and I will see her in heaven...and her puppies?" LOL!!!!!!

Preston's 4 Months Old

Preston is four months old, hard to believe! He is a whopping 14.5 pounds (50th percentile) and 26 inches long (85 percentile)!!! He is getting much less fussier and really turning out to be a really happy baby! He has also started really paying attention to Addison and he loves t watch her, usually only briefly though because she's crazy and gone in a flash! He's sleeping really good, 10-12 hours at night (in his own big boy crib), 2 two hour naps and a couple little catnaps throughout the day! He's laughing and cooing and talking up a storm. He loves playing peek a boo and patty cake. He has rolled a couple times but is not yet a pro at it yet. He loves to stand up while your holding his hands and has perfect head control. He also loves to sit with support, I prop him up in his boppy on the floor and he will play with some of his toys. He is enjoying tummy time more and more every day and is starting to reach out for toys when he's on his belly. He loves grabbing things (especially his sisters hair, much to her dismay) and playing with them. Addison is getting much better with him and not being so rough, or maybe he's just putting up with better! Here are a couple pics and a video!

Michael Jackson

Despite all the bad publicity & trauma that Michael Jackson has received, he remains a true legend in my heart and will continue to forever. My deepest sympathy and compassion goes out to his family and friends, and to those that have stood by this inspirational man. Michael Jackson created music itself and all it is today, not forgetting his tremendous talent to perform with his outstanding dance moves and his ability to wow a crowd. This is a tragic loss of the King of not only pop, but music alone - and a genius at that. He was someone that made more than just an impact on the world. RIP Michael Joseph Jackson.

Happy July 4th

Summer Camp

So Addison had her first day of summer camp at the preschool at church and had a BLAST!!!!! She woke up a couple of times last night saying "mommy come get me I'm ready for school" and I finally got her up at 7 and she was sooooooooo excited to go to school and meet all her new friends! So we got dressed, packed her lunch and her backpack and off we went. As soon as we walked in the door she screamed "I'm at SCHOOL!!!!!! Yaaaaaaaay!!!!!" and the teachers were laughing so hard. She proceeds to run straight to her classroom and off she went and could have cared less that her mommy was getting ready to leave her for the 1st time!!! She wouldn't even hug me bye, I was a little sad! While all the other kids were crying mine was off playing (she found the baby dolls with her baby doll radar)! When 1:30 rolled around it was time to get her and get the bad news that she wasn't allowed back because she was so horrible and Wes met me there to surprise her too. We walked in and walked back to her classroom and there she was so excited to see her mommy and gave me a big hug, made my heart melt, she does love me after all and really could have cared less that her daddy came all the way from work just to see her! So we looked at the teacher expecting the worse and she said she was really good, an me and Wes were like no not our daughter. She said she had to keep on her about some things but that she was great overall!!! In the car she kept saying how much fun she had and she sang me the songs she sang and showed me her painting and her toolbox she made. It was so exciting to see how darn excited she was!!!! And she even told me she met a very special friend named Olivia, how cute her first BFF!!!!!! When we were almost home she said, "Mommy I'm ready to go to sleep when we get home!" Tomorrow is water day so she has to wear her bathing suit and she is already super excited about that so we'll see if she wakes up all night long again because she's so excited!!!! My baby is growing up :(
