Besides the fact that Addison's BFF is named Olivia at school she also LOVES the book and cartoon Olivia, so when I came across this Olivia fabric I couldn't resist and had to make a dress out of it!!!!! I had some left over fabric after so I made her a headband and then attempted to make her baby doll a matching dress and head thingy and it came out too cute and Addison was super excited !!!!!!
This is our 12th Valentine's Day and still going strong (even though he is mad at me right now!!!!!)
So I made a dress that is the same fabrics as the shirt I made yesterday but it is sooo cute and then this morning I found some more valentines fabric and whipped up this shirt and embroidered her name on it but you can't hardly see it because I guess my thread was too light--oh well!!!! Can you tell I'm having fun!!!! And yes I am doing stuff for Preston next!!!
So, I got a really nice embroidery machine for Christmas (thanks dad...wink wink!!!) and I have finally downloaded the trial version of the software I need to do monogramming and I made Addison a Valentines Day pillowcase dress and MONOGRAMMED it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was sooooooo easy and it turned out super cute!!!!!Needless to say stay tuned for more monogrammed madness to come!!!!!!!!
Our little tutu club went to a pottery place this month and the gals had a blast, we painted little cupcake plates and they were really cute. We started this little club a couple months ago when we had a Princess Tiana Tea Party and went to see the movie, I made tutus and we had Princess Tiana shirts and that's how our little club evolved. Once a month we try to do something fun with them and make tutu's. This month I tried out my new embroidery machine (thanks dad!) and made matching shirts!
Later that night we went to the St. Stephen's Carnival with the Verne's and had soooo much fun. It was chilly but we had a good time and let me tell ya, my dear daughter is quite the daredevil!!!! She went on this CRAZY high Kangaroo ride and LOVED every single minute of it!!! Oh geesh things to come!!!!!
